Devoré

 

Today I have been sampling with Devoré. I am really impressed with this technique as I have never been introduced to it and is something that really apeals to me. If i was to use this again I would do a much bigger piece a turn it into a fashion piece. This sample was based on a lino print I did. This print wasn't something I put much thought into as it was just for sampling purposes.



Repeat Pattern

Thinking into Surface Pattern, most of it is a Repeat Pattern e.g. Wallpapers, Gift wrap and Fashion prints, so I thought I would give it a go myself. Luckily, last year, as a part of my Level 3 course, I learnt how to do this in my Computers in Art lessons (how I have done these patterns and my thoughts have been recorded in my sketchbook).
