For this project we started off by having a 6 hour site response day in Bank Quay Gallery. During this time we had to create something from thoughts we had in the building whether it was inspiration from inside or what we could see from outside. Me and some of my peers were in a small room with a whiteboard. We took ownership of this room and left like this was a sort of club, and every club needs a club house. So we went to a charity shop close by and picked up some old curtains and net curtains and then created a den using the office cupboards and planks of wood to suspend the fabric. We are going to be doing a joint project.
We then recreated the den in the studio at college using a booth. We brought more fabric and used tables and a matress, stapling the fabric to the walls of the booth. We decided that it would be nice to set up and photograph the den in different locations and sit in it whilst planning our projects.
The third den was held in my bedroom.
